The Origins (Founder’s Story)
Have you ever felt stuck? Have you ever felt like your life feels lackluster? Ever feel like. “this is it?” You had such big dreams and so much potential and you feel that so much of it is unrealized.
That was me. I had just been laid off from my corporate banking job that I’d had for almost 12 years. At first, it was amazing! The job provided a severance package so I had some time to just be. I loved that for me. I had been through a lot in the past 4 years so I was owed some down time.
During this time I had a big birthday so I started to take stock of my life and found that I didn’t like the inventory. It was at this point that I realized that my life needed a rebrand. I was burnt out, underwhelmed with enjoyment and overwhelmed with responsibilities. I knew I needed a life pivot. But I didn’t want it to be some surface level pivot. Those don’t stick. I knew that I needed to heal some mindsets, spiritual gaps, and boundaries. It was my relationship with myself that I wanted to nurture. I knew that was the key to the life I wanted. I also knew that it would take time.
That’s when my Era of Distinction began. We all find ourselves in an era like this at some point in time. An era when you’re called to look at your life and see if it’s what you want. If it’s not, we start to experience the call for better. It’s up to us to answer the call.
I created this site as a resource to those women who wish to answer the call. The call to escape burn out, evolve their lives, to reclaim themselves. This site is your guide to evolution, your guide to elevation, your guide to distinction.
I hope this place helps you answer your call.
